02/20/2024 Update From Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

Last week was an exciting week on Capitol Hill and I'm so pleased to say that the Republican-led House finally impeached Secretary Mayorkas! I'm very proud of the Republican conference for coming together and uniting around this crucial matter.

Leading on Capitol Hill

The Republican-led House has finally voted to hold Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas accountable and impeach him. I introduced privileged Articles of Impeachment after two of my constituents were murdered in a high-speed head-on collision at the hands of a human trafficker, smuggling illegals into our country.

After introducing my Articles of Impeachment on the House floor, they were referred to the Homeland Committee to be marked up and reported favorably to the House. I want to thank Chairman Green for his hard work in moving these Articles through the committee to the House floor for a vote.

Secretary Mayorkas’s absolute refusal to enforce our country's existing immigration laws has created a national security crisis endangering all of our communities. Alejandro Mayorkas is unfit to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security and must be tried and convicted in the Senate.

You can read my Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Mayorkas HERE.

The Senate must uphold their oath and hold a trial to remove Secretary Mayorkas from office.

The American people are watching and deserve action.

Sec. Mayorkas Impeachment Interview

This week, the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic held a hearing titled, “Assessing America’s Vaccine Safety Systems Part I.” At this hearing, I questioned the witnesses on COVID-19 vaccine injuries and adverse effects. The American people deserve to know the truth about VAERS reports and deserve a medical system that is transparent.

I'm outraged at the Senate’s decision to pass a foreign aid package that funds an additional $95 billion to fight America's proxy war with Russia. Our country currently sits in over $34 trillion in debt, and we have homeless Americans who need help, and yet, they are neglected because we have America last politicians in office.

I will never stop speaking out against the misuse of American taxpayer dollars. It is time for DC politicians to start caring about the American people and fulfilling their number one duty which is to serve the American people first.
