Marjorie Taylor Greene Serving Georgia's 14th District

3/30/2025 Update From Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

The 119th Congress is in session, and I am excited to get to work fighting for YOU.

This past week, my DOGE Subcommittee held a hearing titled Anti-American Airwaves: Holding the Heads of NPR and PBS Accountable. I also took a trip to the White House for Women's History Month and presented my bill, the Gulf of America Act, to the Natural Resources Committee.

We are hard at work delivering the mandate YOU gave this past November. I look forward to working with the Trump Administration and my Republican colleagues to put YOU first.

Keep reading to see what's been happening on Capitol Hill!

DOGE Opening Statement

This week, the DOGE Subcommittee and I questioned the CEOs of NPR and PBS about their use of taxpayer funds for their media outlets.

In my opening statement, I confronted their abuse of federal funds with EVIDENCE of their bias. YOUR hard-earned money has been paying for left-wing PROPAGANDA and the INDOCTRINATION of America's children.

As Chairwoman of this Subcommittee, I am COMMITTED to dismantling and defunding NPR and PBS.

You can watch the full hearing here.

NPR and PBS Closing Statement

Paula Kerger, the CEO of PBS, LIED about the airing of the 'Let's Learn' Drag Queen video made for CHILDREN. I combatted her lies with the TRUTH. PBS and NPR have been funneling their FILTH directly into the minds of America's children.

YOU, the American people, have been paying for this. Tax dollars have been propping up the LIES and IDEOLOGIES of the left.

It's critical that we DEFUND these outlets and cut off the propaganda arm of the Democrat party that is NPR and PBS.

Women's Month at the White House

I was invited to the White House this past week for the celebration of Women's History Month.

It was an honor to be surrounded by such powerful and intelligent women at this special gathering. What an honor it is to represent YOU, the 14th District of Georgia!

Murray County Breakfast

I saw some familiar faces this past week! I held a breakfast for the Murray County Chamber of Commerce and was able to catch up with them on what's happening across their county.

It's exciting to hear about all the growth and development taking place within Murray. It was such a wonderful morning!

Gulf of America Act

My bill, the Gulf of America Act, went before the Natural Resources Committee this past week. The purpose of this bill is to CODIFY into law President Trump's executive order, permanently recognizing the GULF OF AMERICA.

Many American businesses operate on and within the Gulf of America. It's only right that our great nation occupies its name! It's OUR gulf.
