DOGE POST HEARING REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATIONS: America Last: How Foreign Aid Undermined U.S. Interests Around the World

Today, following the Delivering On Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.) Subcommittee’s hearing, America Last: How Foreign Aid Undermined U.S. Interests Around the World, Chairwoman Marjorie Taylor Greene released the Post-Hearing Review and Recommendations.

“It’s not enough to just identify the problems within USAID, it must be abolished,” stated Greene.

“The American people are plagued by the left-wing slush fund that is the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The original purpose of this agency was to combat communism and Soviet imperialism. Instead, we’re finding that it’s funding regime change, terrorist organizations, and media outlets overseas.

Through legislative actions and by common sense solutions these criminal actions of fraud, waste, and abuse can be undone.

The American people mandated that the government align its actions with President Trump’s agenda and America First ideology.

These recommendations serve as a roadmap for how Congress can reverse what was broken by the Democrats and their America last ideals.

Lastly, if we find that Americans have died because of this slush-fund, there will be criminal referrals.”

Chairwoman Greene and the committee recognize the countless problems in the way Washington operates. However, their focus is not just on exposing waste—it’s on delivering real solutions.

These recommendations, built on testimony from expert witnesses, lays out key solutions to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse within USAID and other foreign-aid slush funds. The recommendations include both legislative and executive actions to address issues identified during the hearing.
