Meals: ***Lunch & dinner dining times and locations have changed, please see below for updates.*** The Salvation Army is partnering with Georgia Baptist Relief and local churches to provide meals beginning Thursday, September 8th, for lunch & dinner. Please see below for locations and dining times. LUNCH - Sunday, September 11th - Monday, September 12th: Chattooga High School - 11:30 AM Summerville Middle School - 11:30 AM Dinner - Sunday, September 11th - Monday, September 12th: Chattooga High School - 5:00 PM Summerville Middle School - 5:00 PM Emergency Supply Distribution and Donations: If you are distributing emergency supplies or accepting donations for residents affected by the storms in NW GA, please complete this form. A member of my staff will be in touch and we will distribute the most up-to-date information to our community. The Emergency Management Authority (EMA) has activated 3 main water distribution AND donation centers: North Summerville Baptist Church Central Avenue Baptist Church - Water for buckets or jugs that is flushable only, NOT DRINKABLE, hot meals, cleaning supplies Summerville City Offices If you'd like to make a donation in coordination with the EMA, please contact Cindy McGraw at 706-466-9014 or execdirector@chattoogachamber.org. You can also make a monetary donation to support flood relief online at the Chattooga Chamber of Commerce's Website. Additional non-EMA distribution locations include: Horizon Baptist Fellowship - Water Lucky’s Supermarket - Water REQUESTING DONATIONS for additional shipments ($4,500 per truck). Please make checks payable to: Summerville McDonald's - Hand washing & dishwashing, soda, free food for first responders South Summerville Baptist Church - Water 911 Center - Water for the public and gatorade for first responders, provided by Walmart Sheriff's Office - Dehumidifiers, fans, and cleaning supplies Shower Facilities: Available to those without water, please bring your own shower supplies. Trion Recreation Department Lyerly First Baptist Church New Generation Church - 3 Showers (one is handicap accessible) Washers and Dryers: The Trion Pavilion - Please bring your clothes in a bag with your name on it! |
